OUR MISSION IS TO FOSTER TEENAGERS TO HAVE STRONG PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS WITH JESUS CHRIST, TO ENCOURAGE HEALTHY DECISION-MAKING, AND TO SERVE BOTH THE CHURCH AND LARGER COMMUNITY.
After 130 years of Adventist mission, is the missionary still relevant?
For more than 130 years of Adventist mission, many thousands of Adventist men and women have left the comfort of their homelands to serve the Lord in distance places. A strong, witnessing church in many parts of the world today stands as a monument to their success and dedication.
What about today? The reality is that Adventist mission is alive and well. Each year the church sends scores of missionaries to serve in many different roles around the world. These missionaries show God's love in many practical ways such as education, health care, Bible studies, literacy training, development and relief work, church planting, and leadership training.
Cornerstone Connections is the Sabbath School Bible Study Guide developed for high school teens in the Sabbath School department at the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. It is based on a four-year “through-the-Bible” study curriculum. The lessons are intended for teens to use in their daily Bible study and to provide the basis for learning and discussion in youth Sabbath School.
Each lesson is based on a Bible story or scriptural passage and provides questions for deeper study, discussion, and supportive texts that highlight Bible principles, helping the young learners draw lessons for application.
Join us every Saturday morning at 9:30am for a virtual Bible study before the church service. Do you have questions? We choose topics to discuss as a group, so let's study and learn together. Please email Daniela for the link and to be added to our email list.
